They text. The app answers.

They don't run the app? The job still reaches you. Your trade
A dispatcher's thread in the inbox: the jobs they texted, the K the app sent back, a closing, and plain talk in between, over WhatsApp.

They text on WhatsApp. The app gets it.

They text the job the way they always have. It lands as a job card, your tap answers them, and the closing goes back when you collect.

The Today screen with a new job card open: a 2021 Kia Sportage lockout for Omar H on Northern Blvd in Woodside, from dispatch, with Accept, Assign, Forward and Decline.

A text becomes a job

They text the job the way they always have. It lands as a card, and the first thing they hear back is your yes.

Their message, unchanged. The dispatcher texts the job the way they always have: the customer, the number, the address, the car, what is wrong. Nothing to install and no format to learn; the bridge reads the layouts dispatch desks actually use.
The card. It lands as a card: the type, the vehicle, the address, the customer's number, and the dispatcher's note word for word. Unscheduled and unpriced until you say otherwise; the bridge never guesses a price or a split.
Accept texts K. Tap Accept, or Assign it to a tech, and the app texts K back, once. The first thing a dispatcher ever hears from the app is your yes.
Decline in your words. Turning it down sends your reason under their message, not a canned line: too far, too busy, the customer declined the price, no parts on the van, or whatever you type. Skip the note and they get a plain can't take this one.
Silent on purpose. No auto-replies, no read-backs, no we got your message. A photo or a voice note gets one line asking for the details in text; everything else waits for your tap.

On the job

The dispatcher's words on the sheet, the customer one tap away, and a way back if you can't finish it.

Notes from the dispatcher. The dispatcher's note sits on the job sheet exactly as they wrote it: what the customer has, what they would not say, where the car is. The original text is kept, so every reply can quote it back.
The customer, one tap. A masked dispatch number keeps its extension after the comma, so Call dials it and reaches the customer without a second tap. A second contact, the tow driver or whoever is with the car, sits under the first.
Send it back. Can't finish it? Send it back to the sender with a reason, any time before it is paid. It leaves your book and goes back to them with your words.
A job like any other. On the phone and on the office board a texted-in job is a job: assign it, drag it to an hour, run the status steps, take photos before and after. The office and the tech look at the same record.

The closing

The money claim to whoever sent the job, written for you and sent only by your hand.

Paid, then the closing. When the job is paid, the sheet writes the closing to whoever sent it: what was paid and how. Closing 110 cash; two tenders when it was split, Closing 245 cash 250 cc.
Parts on their own line. Parts you spent go on a second line as tech parts or company parts, so the dispatcher's math matches yours. Who supplied them follows the roster and can be changed per job.
You approve every word. A closing is a money claim, so it never sends itself. Read it, change it, and one confirm tap sends it, once; or finish with nothing sent.
Nothing forgotten. A paid job whose closing has not gone out stays marked on the job sheet until it does. Nothing goes out behind your back, and nothing slips through either.

The thread

One conversation per dispatcher, shown exactly as they see it, with the truth about delivery.

One thread per dispatcher. Under Partners in your inbox, every desk that texts you work has one conversation: the jobs they sent, your K, the closings you approved, and plain talk in between.
Exactly what they received. Each reply quotes their message and adds yours under a line, the way the trade threads by text. The app shows every bubble as the dispatcher sees it, verbatim.
Delivered, or not. One tick when the carrier took it, two when it landed. A dropped message stays in the thread marked Not delivered with the reason in words; a note or a chat can be re-sent, a closing only through the confirm tap.
Talk between jobs. Type to the desk from the same thread and it goes out on their channel, WhatsApp or text. Owners and office dispatchers see the thread; techs see the job.

For the dispatcher

Nothing to install, nothing to learn. They keep their phone; the app answers in the trade's own words.

Nothing to install. They keep their phone, their messaging app and their habits. They text your number; K, your reasons and the closing come back in the thread they already have.
WhatsApp or text. Whichever they use, the answer goes back the same way. The words are the trade's own: K, the reason, the closing with the numbers.
What they never get. No portal, no login, no link to open, no marketing. The bridge speaks only when you tap: a K, a reason, a closing.

Not the same as forwarding

Shops on the app forward with a split and the ledger. Desks off the app text, and the bridge answers.

Shops on the app forward. A shop that runs the app sends you a job with a split, and the ledger keeps score when it is paid. That is an offer: Accept or Decline in the app, and no K.
Desks off the app text. A dispatcher who texts you work gets the bridge: the card, K, your reasons, the closing. No split and no ledger; you settle with them the way you always have.
One inbox. Offers under More, dispatcher threads under Partners, the team and your clients beside them. One phone, every channel.
